• As of August 9th, the flow of new lava at Litli-Hrutur has temporarily ceased. The smoldering area remains intriguing and worthwhile to explore
• The hike to the volcanic area takes approximately 2 hours each way—challenging yet manageable for those with reasonable fitness
• Dress suitably for challenging weather; avoid jeans for optimal comfort in varying conditions
• Optional pickup available upon request, subject to an additional charge for added convenience
• Some city center areas are inaccessible by bus due to regulations. If staying there, expect redirection to special bus stops
