• This tour travel by minivan or minibus straight to the monastery area; there is no cogwheel train or cable car on this tour
• The free time is enough for a meal at the monastery's cafes or the small farmers' market
• Be prepared for uphill and downhill walking on paved paths, some of which may be uneven
• The Black Madonna is located above the main altar in a small chapel accessible via a corridor and stairs. After visiting the Sacristy, you will join the queue near its final section, reducing the waiting time. Please note that some waiting may still be required, as direct access does not mean completely skipping the queue
• The Escolania Boys’ Choir typically sings at 1:00 PM on weekdays, excluding school holidays and tour dates. Choir attendance is optional and subject to availability
• Wear comfortable shoes for Montserrat’s uphill and downhill paths, and ensure your shoulders and legs are covered when entering the Sacristy; bring an extra layer during winter (November to March), when it can be cooler and windier than Barcelona
