  • We specialize in serving “hangi”. The menu does cater for some dietary needs, such as vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options available – all meats are halal

  • Bar facilities available on site, no alcoholic beverages to be brought onto or taken from the premises

  • Baby highchairs available – limited number so book in advance

  • Some limitations for wheelchair accessibility during walk through the forest

  • Please dress for the weather, e.g., warm clothing in winter, hat in summer, jacket when it's raining, etc.

  • Please wear comfortable shoes for the bush walk

How to get there

  • By car: If you are driving to the Mitai Maori Village, please arrive 20 minutes prior to the start time of the show

  • If you choose the unit with pick-up, a complimentary shuttle bus can pick you up at your Rotorua accommodation

  • Summer pickup is between 5.45 p.m. and 6.15 p.m.

  • Winter pickup is between 5.15 p.m. and 5.45pm.
