What to bring

• 1. Temperature: The coldest season is from late November to the end of February of the following year, with temperatures generally ranging from -20 to -32 degrees Celsius. 2. Clothing: For the upper body, it is recommended to wear thermal underwear + sweater + close-fitting thin down jacket + thick down jacket. For the outer layer, a mid-length thick down jacket or thick windbreaker is best, and it should be loose-fitting. For the lower body, it is recommended to wear long johns + down pants + cold-proof windbreaker pants (with fleece lining). The hat should be a thick woolen hat or a Lei Feng hat, which is especially good because it can cover the forehead, and then put on the hood of the down jacket for extra warmth. A scarf, mask, and gloves are essential, and they should all be thick. For shoes, you can buy thick hiking boots with deep treads, one size larger than your usual shoe size, which are non-slip and warm. Flat-bottomed snow boots are not suitable for people from the South, as they are easy to fall in. Buy thick cotton socks for socks. 3. Skin Care: Bring some oily balm-type skin care products, moisturizing cream, and lip balm. Drink more boiled water or eat more fruits to prevent rough and chapped skin. 4. Anti-slip: In winter, there is often ice and snow on the roads in the North, and the road surface is slippery. Food: The taste of team meals in Northeast China is heavy, generally based on dark, salty and sticky flavors. The taste may be slightly different, but you will definitely be full. 7. Medicines: Because there is heating indoors in Northeast China, the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors is large. With alternating hot and cold temperatures, you should prepare medicines for colds and flu when traveling. 9. Activities: When doing activities outdoors in winter, try to take off rings, earrings, necklaces and other jewelry. If they fall into the snow, it will be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Pay attention to keeping exposed skin warm, and do not use hot water to apply to frostbite, but use snow or cold water to relieve it, and then apply frostbite cream. 10. Prevent Colds: In winter, the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors in Northeast China is large, so wear a coat when going out, fasten your buttons or zip up your zipper, and wear a hat or scarf.
