Eligibility

  • Guests under 15 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above.
  • Guests under 15 cannot participate on their own.
  • Children aged 6 and under are not permitted to participate.

Additional information

  • Rental snow wear refers to a jacket and pants or a one-piece suit.
  • Large and junior sizes are limited. Please contact the rental shop directly in advance to check availability.
  • Additional charges may apply depending on the size required.
  • Please return all rental items within the rental shop’s opening hours.
  • To reach Akakura Onsen Ski Area, take an express bus from Nagano Station for approx. 80 minutes, or take the Shinano Railway to Myoko-Kogen Station for approx. 45 minutes, followed by a 10-minute taxi ride.
  • If public transportation is suspended due to severe weather, the standard cancellation policy will apply.
  • If Akakura Onsen Ski Area closes due to insufficient snow, the decision will generally be made at least 2 days before your scheduled visit, and you will be notified if the activity is canceled.

What to bring

  • Please prepare your own ski or snowboard clothing and equipment.
  • Accessories such as beanies, gloves, and goggles may be available for purchase at rental shops or resort shops, but quantities are limited. We recommend preparing your own in advance.
  • Gloves, goggles, beanies, innerwear, leggings, socks, and other accessories are not included. Please bring your own.
